Reasons to Use a Tour Package for Your Next Holiday!

I’m an experienced traveler so I never imaged myself booking a package tour!
However last year I was extremely tired and stressed from my work and I wanted to take a vacay but I didn’t want to sit there and do all the planning it takes to do a trip by yourself.
I didn’t feel like having to haggle with locals over prices or making contingency plans in case something fell through.
So I decided to go to Thailand using a tour package. I went ahead and did and I’m so glad I did!

By booking a tour package

  • Everything was pretty much taken care for me. A big advantage of tour package is a comfortable tour.
  • If something went wrong it wasn’t my problem. It frees you from having to plan your own itinerary. Planning a trip can be fun but is also surprisingly time-consuming and sometimes stressful, even for people who are mostly winging it rather than planning things to the second ("Ugh, is every damned guesthouse in the whole city booked solid on Wednesday night?!?") And you'll get it wrong sometimes due to your lack of local knowledge, e.g., by visiting place A and then place B instead of the other way around, you miss an interesting annual festival in place B that you didn't know about but a tour operator would have.
  • They knew the right places to go and what times to go. You get a knowledgeable English speaking guide.
  • No getting swindled by unscrupulous locals
  • I was well fed! You are well-fed and, for the most part, well-rested for the entire trip. The "well-fed" part may mean you're unable to experience authentic local food -- but it also means you are highly unlikely to be puking your guts out in the middle of the trip because the street vendor you picked at random reused last week's cooking oil and you didn't know it.
  • I actually saved money! In many cases its cheaper to do a package than to but each individual component separately. In my case I actually saved $300 by using a package
What I especially like about tourradar is they’re not a tour company themselves. They’re a comparison tool that you can use to compare tour companies to get the best deal.

They also offer a best price guarantee. Here's a good review of them here
